Remember the Urban Decay Jean-Michel Basquiat Collection we told you about last month? Well it’s here for New Yorkers who don’t like to wait for anything — including fabulous new makeup launches.
Starting 8 am this morning the collection began being sold at The New Stand in Union Square – an underground subway store serving up all sorts of downtown new media, fashion and music cool. It goes without saying that anything Basquiat fits right in with that vibe, including this new collection of eyeshadows, eyeliners, lipsticks, makeup bags and more inspired by his artwork.
We know the packaging of the new collection, particularly inside this dope retail experience, has already enticed you, but here’s a closer look at the shades from the collection’s three palettes.
There’s also three new exclusive Vice lipstick shades in creamy nude tones that perfectly complement the colorful waterproof eyeliners in the set.
The collection doesn’t officially launch for the masses until next week, but if you’re in NYC, stop by The New Stand (by the South West corner of 14th and Broadway at the subway entrance next to Whole Foods) between 8 am and 8 pm April 10-17 to get your hands on these items.
Hint: You probably don’t want to wait too long; these items will sell out.
