Where Are They Now? Get Out Edition: The Kardashian Exes

Last month, former NBA player Rashad McCants said in an interview with the Charlotte Observer that dating Khloe Kardashian, among other things, was the reason his basketball career had taken a nosedive just a few years after it started. He believed that dating the youngest Kardashian sister in 2009, the same year she would go on to date and marry Lamar Odom, made people doubt his commitment to his game. "Without that situation in play, I’m a $60-70 million player," McCants said. "Easily." While I doubt that going out with a Kardashian really was the major thing that hurt his career (McCants is a free agent who has spent the last few years playing overseas following health issues and cut contracts), it did make me think about the other men the Kardashian sisters have dated and married and how things fared for them. Kris Humphries

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian admitted that she married the NBA player for the wrong reasons. "I just thought, 'Holy sh-t, I’m 30 years old, I better get this together. I better get married." More than 70 days after tying the knot, she was ready to be done. The good news is, Humphries is doing just fine. James Harden

Another NBA player who also walked away from his relationship with a Kardashian relatively unscathed, Houston Rocket star James Harden dated Khloe Kardashian in 2015 and 2016. The good news is, the relationship didn't hurt his career because they were barely seen together. He's currently an MVP candidate. When speaking on what he didn't like about the relationship, Harden said to Sports Illustrated, "I didn’t like all the attention. I feel like it was for no reason. I wasn’t getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don’t need that." His facial expression clearly proves that he didn't like it:

TJ and Taryll Jackson

TJ dated Kim while Taryll dated Kourtney, both for about four years. TJ was with Kim when they were both teenagers, while Kourtney and Taryll were an item a few years before she started dating Scott Disick. The sons of Tito Jackson, they inherited their fathers love of music and are in the group 3T with brother Taj. After splitting from the sisters, they continued with music and starting families. Tito is married with four children (and two stepkids) and is also the co-legal guardian of Michael Jackson's youngest child Blanket. (He held the same responsibility for Prince and Paris before they turned 18.) Taryll, well, he most recently appeared on Iyanla Fix My Life to deal with some emotional turmoil from his past. Lamar Odom

Odom married Khloe Kardashian in 2009 after dating her for a month. Following career stumbles, a reality show together, infidelity and drug abuse, the pair split in 2015. After Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas following kidney failure and strokes, people thought they would reunite because Khloe was by his side and withdrew her divorce petition in order to make medical decisions for him. But that was it. He's continued to go through recovery. Odom has said that the end of his relationship with Khloe was his fault, but it seems that he's moving on. Reggie Bush

The NFL player dated Kim Kardashian from 2007 to 2010 on and off. One of the major reasons their relationship didn't last was because of their schedules, but Bush publicly stated numerous times that he didn't enjoy all of the attention. "I play football, and most football players are camera shy," he told Rachel Ray while appearing on her show. "We just want to be left alone, we just want to stick to what we do." Bush went on to marry Lilit Avagyan and they are expecting their third child. He played with the Buffalo Bills this past NFL season and made history as the "first running back in league history to finish the season with 10 or more carries and gain negative yards since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger" according to Sports Illustrated. That's not a good thing. Scott Disick

If you watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians, you know how all over the place this relationship was. After cheating on Kourtney in 2015, the pair weren't able to get back together. Disick, who was hoping to reconcile, has since gone back to his partying ways and went from girl to girl at the recent Cannes Film Festival. He presumably did this because Kourtney was also at Cannes with new boyfriend Younes Bendjima. Miles Austin

Remember him? Kim Kardashian dated Miles Austin in 2010 when he was playing for the Dallas Cowboys and after she and Reggie Bush called it quits for the last time. After that relationship ended, Austin ended his tenure with the Cowboys in 2014. After briefly playing for the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles, Austin moved on to become a part of the Cowboys' scouting team in 2016. A source told Us Weekly after their split that "he liked her to an extent, but he loved the publicity a lot more."

Derrick Ward

The former NFL player, who won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 2008, dated Khloe Kardashian briefly in 2009. While sharing a Throwback Thursday picture in 2015 on Twitter that he would later delete, Ward revealed that Reggie Bush, Kim's ex, was the one who tried to make their love connection happen. "Early TBT Couldn't tell me sh-t in 2009," he wrote. "Don't judge me it was @ReggieBush fault lol he introduced me at the SB in Tampa." Anywho, Ward retired from the league in 2012 and has had a lot to say about different well-known people, including rapper Joe Budden, who he had a Twitter back and forth with, openly gay former NFL player Michael Sam and NFL player Damontre Moore. The 36-year-old seems to be focused now on fatherhood and doing some type of work on the set of Fuller House. Cool!

Damon Thomas

Before pretty much everyone, including Ray J, Kim Kardashian was married to a record producer named Damon Thomas, whom she tied the knot with when she was 19 and was with from 2000 to 2003. Thomas is known for his work with Babyface and working with a slew of major artists as part of the writing team The Underdogs with Harvey Mason, Jr. In divorce papers, Kim claimed that Thomas had been physically abusive to her, which he denied and alleged that she only said to "get a lot of money." In an interview with InTouch Weekly in 2010, Thomas didn't have anything nice to say about his ex-wife. "Kim is obsessed with fame," he said. "She can’t write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media. That’s a fame-whore to me." French Montana

It felt like they were together for quite a while considering how much attention their relationship garnered (which they both reveled in). But after buying Khloe a car, putting her in his music video "Don't Panic" and pretty much doing the absolute most, the pair split. He's since had more success in music than he's had in dating, with there being more rumors of courtships with Sanaa Lathan and Amber Rose than any real, serious proof. Gabriel Aubry

I'm sure you forgot this happened. The man we all know as Halle Berry's ex tried to get put on again by dating Kim Kardashian in 2010. There were rumors that Berry wasn't happy to see the pair together, as they were seen posted up courtside at a Lakers game. They quickly fell flat. He didn't get the publicity he may have wanted, but Aubry would go on to have a highly-publicized court battle with Berry over custody and child support. We also all saw that black eye Berry's now ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, gave him.
