Prom dresses sure have changed. While you were wearing gloves, shoes with a thick heel and thinking you were being provocative with a cut-out that showed off a sliver of your back, today’s teens are attending prom in some eye-popping, one-of-a-kind creations. That includes Reginae Carter, daughter of Toya Wright and Lil Wayne.
The 18-year-old’s dress for her senior prom this past weekend was inspired by Beyoncé Knowles’s dress from the 2015 Met Gala, a sheer Givenchy gown. Carter shared this image of Knowles tipping everyone off to the fact that Queen Bey would be her muse for the prom:

She unveiled her look, and while it wasn’t anywhere near as revealing as Knowles’s, it was definitely just as much of a sparkling, gorgeous, head-turning gown:

Carter also made sure to point at that corsage’s are not her thing. Instead, she opted for a Rolex watch that matched her gown (by Yousef Aljasmi) and shoes (by Stuart Weitzman) perfectly.
